A user is having difficulty deleting a layer in a gCADPlus drawing. We show that the layer isolate tool is a valuable tool to resolve this issue. Once a layer is isolated, entities can be quickly removed. Once that’s done, the layer command can be used to check that all entities on the layer in question have been removed. In this case (and it is a common error), we showed that the designer had made a floating viewport on the layer he wanted to delete. Once the viewport was removed (or moved to another layer) the layer could be deleted. The movie also shows how important it is to be aware of the off/on status of a layer when trying to select entities.
