Q. What is the best format to use when placing illustrations in PageMaker? A. We usually keep the 'master' of the image in TIFF format (for raster - bit mapped images and EPS for vector data [drawings data that can be manipulated] and place that image into PageMaker. Adobe Illustrator saves in EPS format and CAD programs such as AutoCAD can export an EPS file. EPS = Encapsulated Postscript file. |
