Q.
How do I display and restore toolbars in IntelliCAD?
A.
Use View>Toolbars
The toolbars in the IntelliCAD drawing area (editor) are controlled by a
dialog box that is called up by clicking View>Toolbars. This action
pops up the 'Select Toolbars' dialog box. If you want to remove a toolbar
from the drawing editor, you 'uncheck' the appropriate box. When you
return to the drawing editor, the toolbar will no longer be displayed.
The
converse is true when you want to show a toolbar. Simply tick (check) the
box corresponding to that toolbar.
IntelliCAD
will sometimes not display the toolbar even though you have checked the
box. If this happens, tick the 'show large buttons' option in the dialog
box. When you return to the drawing editor, the toolbar will show although
it may be too large for your liking. Call up the box again and turn off
the 'show large buttons' and everything will be fine.
Q.
What do you do if a tool bar is inadvertently deleted?
If you do uncheck a toolbar, one of the options then available is a
'delete' option. Take care with this because the toolbar is deleted
entirely.
The simplest way to restore a
toolbar that has been deleted in this way is to call up the 'select
Toolbars' option again, click customize, select the 'reset' option. This
sets all toolbars back to their original state. You will be returned to
the drawing editor again. The 'added' toolbar may will not show. Now use
View>Toolbars again and check the missing toolbar. Note that you may
have to scroll down to find the toolbar. If when you close the 'Select
Toolbars' option, the toolbar still may not show. If this happens, go back
into the Select Toolbars' option and uncheck (take the tick away) from the
'show large options' toolbar. In other words, we reverse of the procedure
outlined under point 1.
