The file containing the trial version of IntelliCAD is a self extracting file. It is approximately 17 Mb in size. We recommend that you save it to a folder on your hard disk.

After downloading the file, start Windows Explorer, navigate to the root directory of your CD and double click on the EXE file. An automatic setup installation process will take place, installing IntelliCAD.

We recommend that you accept all of the defaults during the process.

IntelliCAD will then be installed and a desk top short cut to the program is created automatically.

We suggest starting IntelliCAD from this new desk top shortcut.

Testing IntelliCAD

Use the drop down menu File and click on 'open file' then navigate to the folder containing sample drawings. This will be on the drive in which you installed IntelliCAD and in a folder called IntelliCAD XX.
