This course takes an
in-depth look at
the classic Windows tool for 'high end' desktop publishing -
Adobe PageMaker. We
assist you to explore many of the more advanced features
in PageMaker, designing and
building a number of different types of publication.
We will work with
you to build publications focussed on your own
requirements, be they annual reports, catalogues,
product brochures etc.
This is a course for those who have
completed 'An Introduction to
PageMaker'.
Advanced Adobe PageMaker
normally runs over a full day session. Cost
is $250.00 per person and includes GST.
An
understanding of basic
computer operation including the ability to create, save and locate files. We
would expect that you have used a word processor
such as Microsoft Word and reached a reasonable
level of skill.

Gather together all
illustrative materials. Check the red, blue & yellow books for
colour matching. Examine some sample annual reports in the
Exercises folder (plug-ins?). Mock up a draft. Test print draft
with commercial printer. Test on-line version of report.
