An Introduction to the Internet

The ability to use a computer in order to access the Internet has changed the way in which information can be obtained by both children and adults.  This course aims to introduce the Internet and the World Wide Web in a straightforward manner. Our aim is to show that 'surfing the net', finding information, assessing the value of the information and downloading material is quite a simple process - we will show you how to do this.

Course duration & cost:

An Introduction to the Internet normally runs over a half day session, morning or afternoon. Cost is $125.00 and includes GST.

Prerequisites:

There are none. We do assume a little basic knowledge of how a computer works, but this is not essential. If you need to brush up your basic computer skills, our courses 'Introduction to Computing' and 'Windows - getting more from your computer' provide a companion to this course.
